Dwyane Wade, Udonis Haslem and Antoine Walker each recorded a double-double as the HEAT registered a 95-92 victory over the Mavericks before a sellout crowd of 20,522 to earn its first NBA championship. Miami overcame a 14-point deficit to record the largest come-from-behind win in its postseason history. The Game 6 triumph marked the third game in the Finals in which the HEAT overcame a double-digit deficit to win. Wade who had a game-high 36 points, 10 rebounds, five assists and a team-high four steals was named the NBA Finals MVP. The victory earned HEAT Head Coach Pat Riley his fifth NBA championship as a head coach and seventh overall.
